Common types

In the world of clothing, the fabrics used in clothing are diverse and constantly changing. However, overall, excellent and high-end fabrics mostly have several characteristics such as comfortable wearing, sweat absorption and breathability, hanging and firm, visually noble, and soft touch.

When making clothing for formal social occasions, it is advisable to choose pure cotton, pure wool, pure silk, and pure linen products. Clothing made from these four natural fabrics is mostly of a higher grade. Sometimes, wearing clothing made of pure leather is also allowed.

(1) Woven Fabric

Also known as woven fabric, it is a fabric formed by interweaving warp and weft yarns perpendicular to each other. Its basic organization includes three types: plain, twill, and satin weave. Different woven fabrics are also composed of these three basic structures and their varied structures. There are mainly Chiffon, Oxford, Denim, Twill, Flannel, Damask, etc.

(2) Knitted Fabric

Using knitting needles to form loops of yarn or filament, and then stringing the loops together to form them, due to the coil structure characteristics of knitted fabrics, there is a large amount of yarn stored per unit length, so most of them have good elasticity. Knitted fabrics are divided into single-sided and double-sided. There are mainly single Jersey, velvet, birdeye, mersh fishnet, etc.
