Pillow height
Modern research suggests that pillows should be slightly lower than the shoulder to the neck on the same side. Pillow height is determined based on the physiological curve of the seven cervical vertebrae arranged in the human neck. Only by adapting to this physiological curvature can the shoulder and neck muscles, ligaments, and joints be in a relaxed state. Pillow height that is too high or too low is harmful. High pillows hinder blood circulation in the head, which can easily cause cerebral ischemia, snoring, and pillowing. It is not as people often say, 'sleep without worries'; Low pillows can cause congestion in the head, leading to swelling of the eyelids and face. Especially when suffering from hypertension or heart disease, it is advisable to choose a suitable pillow.
